My name is Nadine Kaven and I provide consulting services in design and branding. This includes a comprehensive range of design services such as corporate identity, logo creation, design guidelines, brand books, websites, print materials…
My journey
I am originally from the northern heights of Germany, Schleswig-Holstein. In 2003, I earned my Master of Arts from the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, specializing in digital design during its emerging phase.
In 2007, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by founding my design company, bbdf.k GmbH / Butter bei die Fische.Kommunikation, situated in Hamburg along the Elbe.
In 2011, I became a mother and relocated with my family to Berlin, where I established kaven.design.
In 2014, we moved to Bangkok, Thailand, where I worked as a branding consultant for two startups—one based in Bangkok (Masii) and the other in Boston (Getmii), affiliated with Harvard University. This marked the beginning of my work with diverse cultures.
In 2017, I co-founded 22kN, a cybersecurity firm in Bangkok, overseeing the areas of creation and culture.
I joined the digital department at B.Grimm, a 145-year-old conglomerate in Southeast Asia, in 2018, contributing to the company's digital transformation. I eventually assumed the role of brand lead in 2020.
The challenges posed by the global pandemic led us back to Berlin in the same year. Initially working remotely for B.Grimm, in 2021, I co-founded SIIAM GmbH. Our mission is to offer branding, design, and digital consulting services to B.Grimm's enterprises and divisions (30+ brands), with a focus on expanding the company's footprint in Europe, and to clients worldwide.
