My name is Nadine Kaven, and I specialize in providing consulting services in design and branding. I offer a wide array of design solutions, including corporate identity development, logo design, brand guidelines, brand books, websites, and print materials.
My journey
I’m Nadine Kaven, originally from the northern region of Germany, Schleswig-Holstein.
In 2005, I completed my Master of Arts at the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, specialising in digital design during its early stages.
In 2007, I took the entrepreneurial leap and founded my design company, bbdf.k GmbH / Butter bei die Fische.Kommunikation, located at Dockland, along the beautiful Elbe River in Hamburg.
In 2011, after becoming a mother, I moved with my family to Berlin, where I established kaven.design.
In 2014, we moved to Bangkok, Thailand, where I served as a branding consultant for two startups—Masii, based in Bangkok, and Getmii, based in Boston and affiliated with Harvard University. This marked the beginning of my work with diverse cultures.
In 2017, I co-founded 22kN, a cybersecurity firm in Bangkok, where I was responsible for overseeing creation and company culture.
In 2018, I joined the digital department at B.Grimm, a 145-year-old conglomerate in Southeast Asia, contributing to the company's digital transformation. By 2020, I had taken on the role of brand lead.
The global pandemic brought us back to Berlin in the same year. Initially working remotely, in 2021, I co-founded SIIAM GmbH. Our mission is to provide branding, design, and digital consulting services to B.Grimm's enterprises and divisions (30+ brands), with a particular focus on expanding the company's presence in Europe.
In addition to my work with SIIAM, I offer consulting services in design and branding. This includes a full range of design services, such as corporate identity, logo design, brand guidelines, brand books, websites, and print materials.
